OUR Mission
The mission of the Student Health Clinic is to provide quality assessment and treatment to students in time of sickness and injury and to promote a healthy lifestyle and wellness. These services are provided by Nurse Practitioners and support staff. The staff embraces a wellness concept along with an educational approach to help students achieve wellness and to gain the maximum benefit from their college experiences.
Our Staff
Student Health Services is staffed by a clinical director, nurse practitioners, and an office coordinator. Nurse practitioners are registered nurses with advanced nursing degrees and clinical expertise. The student health services clinic's nurse practitioners are all nationally certified in their specialty area and approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing as advanced practice nurses. Nurse practitioners provide care through practice guidelines and have a consulting physician available at all times. In addition to providing direct care, the clinic staff is continuously involved in various campus outreach activities.
